Check It – Challenge It -Change It
We all have thoughts that shape our emotions, actions, and self-perception. But not every thought is true, helpful, or productive. That’s where the “Check It, Challenge It, Change It” method comes in—a simple yet powerful approach to breaking negative thinking patterns and fostering a healthier mindset.
🔍 Check It – Start by noticing the thought. Is it based on facts or assumptions? Is it helpful or harmful? Simply recognizing your thoughts is the first step to gaining control over them.
❓ Challenge It – Ask yourself: Is this thought rational? Is there evidence to support it? Would I say this to a friend? By questioning the validity of a thought, you create space for a more balanced perspective.
✨ Change It – If the thought is unhelpful or untrue, reframe it. Replace it with a more constructive, realistic, or compassionate perspective. This shift can transform your mindset and lead to healthier emotional responses.
